Chairman Ben Chapman MP Ben Chapman has been Labour MP for Wirral South since 1997. Prior to becoming an MP, he spent his career in the civil service, mostly in the DTI and served abroad as commercial counsellor in the British Embassy in Beijing from 1987-1990. He is currently a member of the Intelligence and Security Committee. He also chairs the All Party Group Vietnam Group and Cleaning and Hygiene Industry Group. Vice Chairman Ian Stewart MP Ian Stewart has been Labour MP for Eccles since 1997. Formerly a Parliamentary Private Secretary to ministers at the DTI, including the then Secretary of State, Alan Johnson, Ian now Chairs a variety of APPGS, including the Vaccine Damaged Children Group, the Friends of the Bahais Group, the Bullying and Workplace Violence Group and the Community Media Group. Vice Chairman Tony Baldry MP Tony Baldry has been Conservative MP for Banbury since 1983. Tony held ministerial posts in the Department of Energy in 1990, the Department of Environment from 1990-1994 and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from 1994-1995. He was Minister of State at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food from 1995-1997. More recently, he chaired the International Development Committee from 2001-2005. Vice Chairman Lord Clement-Jones Lord Clement-Jones is the Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Culture, Media and Sport in the House of Lords. He was raised to the peerage as Baron Clement-Jones of Clapham in the London Borough of Lambeth in 1998. A solicitor by profession, outside of his parliamentary duties he is a Partner at the law firm DLA Piper and Co-Chairman of their Global Government Relations Practice. Treasurer Jeff Ennis MP Jeff Ennis has been Labour MP for Barnsley East and Mexborough since 1997, but was elected MP for Barnsley East at a by-election in 1996. A former Barnsley Councillor, he was Permanent Private Secretary to Tessa Jowell from 1997 to 2001. Secretary Lord Cotter Lord Cotter was raised to the peerage as Baron Cotter of Congresbury in the County of Somerset in 2006. Previously, he was a Councillor at Woking Borough Council from 1986-1990 and Liberal Democrat MP for Weston-Super-Mare from 1997-2005 when he was their Spokesperson for Trade and Industry (Small Business).
